If you don t have a sill just measure up to the point where you want the blinds to end. We offer 1 inch 2 inch and 2 1 2 inch slats in most blinds. There are also four standard blind widths. Measure the height by going all the way from the top of the frame to the window sill.
Window length width and depth. Consider adding an extra 3 inches to the width and height for optimum light control and privacy. Measure the width from the outermost points of the window. Outside mount window treatments are mounted outside the window casing.
You re likely to see 24 and 36 inch widths paired with the smaller heights or with accent windows. The size of the blind slats you choose really depends on your desired look and application. The 48 and 60 inch blinds will show up more often in short wide windows or in full wall windows. The slats can be tilted opened precisely horizontally for the most light or closed for privacy or to block.
